GA certification is currently seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our growing team. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security of our computer systems and networks, and protecting our sensitive data from cyber threats. You will work closely with our IT security team to develop strategies to prevent cyber attacks, identify and respond to security incidents, and continuously monitor and improve our security protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in computer science and cybersecurity, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect critical assets and data
  • Monitor computer networks and systems for security breaches, and respond to incidents in a timely manner
  • Investigate and analyze security incidents to determine the root cause and recommend solutions to prevent future occurrences
  • Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses in our systems and networks
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats, technologies and best practices, and proactively recommend measures to improve our security posture
  • Work with other departments to ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards related to cybersecurity

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field
  • Proven work experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of information security principles and practices, including network protocols, firewalls, encryption technologies, threat intelligence, and incident management
  • Experience with vulnerability scanners, SIEM tools, and other security products
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple competing tasks and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
