We’re looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at Tablespace Games. You’ll play a key role in developing, scaling, and maintaining our online gaming platforms—contributing to both frontend player experiences and backend systems that power them.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs
Collaborate with designers, game developers, and product managers to create seamless user experiences
Write clean, efficient, and testable code across the stack
Optimize performance, reliability, and security of systems
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements
3+ years of experience with modern full stack development (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, or equivalent frameworks)
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, databases (SQL or NoSQL), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and version control (Git)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Passion for gaming and interactive software
Nice to Have
Experience with real-time systems (WebSockets, multiplayer networking)
Familiarity with game engines or gaming-related platforms
Background in performance tuning and scalability
