ABOUT: The client is an enterprise software company that offers data, analytics, and AI in one platform. They combine the best of data warehouses and data lakes to provide an open and unified platform for data and AI. The client is looking for a Consultant/Project/Program Manager to help them manage and deliver multiple client projects successfully. TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES: Client Engagement: Interface directly with customers, maintaining strong relationships and serving as the primary point of contact. Internal Collaboration: Partner with internal resource management and technical leadership teams to ensure proper staffing and alignment. Delivery Oversight: Ensure all technical deliverables stay on track, identifying and resolving potential blockers early. Operational Hygiene: Spend roughly 20% of the role ensuring internal systems are up-to-date with accurate project information. Admin Reporting: Manage and accurately report project metrics within the professional services administration tool. Status Tracking: Maintain and distribute comprehensive project and status reports for both internal stakeholders and clients. Financial & Risk Management: Monitor and report burn-down rates to customers while proactively identifying and mitigating both internal and customer-facing risks. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Client-Facing Excellence: Exceptional customer-facing and consulting skills with the ability to professionally represent the company. Methodology Expertise: Proven experience in Project Management and Agile methodologies. Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure and within ambiguous environments. Financial Acumen: Able to conduct financial forecasting to predict expected revenue generated from client projects. Domain Knowledge: Preferred experience with Databricks or similar data/analytics platforms. OTHER DETAILS: Location: This role is open to candidates located in Auckland, New Zealand. Work Model: Hybrid setup, anticipating 1–3 days a week onsite at the client's office. Travel: Minimal travel outside of Auckland may be required. Any travel outside the Auckland area will be fully reimbursed
